I used to have Evernote (the free version) installed on my iMac - I had it for several years and used it for countless notes. Then my hard drive died and I had to have it replaced.

The technician was able to transfer all my files and documents, but not my software, including Evernote, so I lost all my Evernote stuff.

How can I get it back?

I found my notes! I installed the application again and there they were!

The master copy of your notes is maintained on the Evernote servers

Even if you lose the database on your Mac; just logging into Evernote will trigger the database to be rebuilt from the servers.

Warning: The rebuild does not include local notebooks or unsynced notes
