Too much white space

Evernote 8.0 for iOS has too much white space to the left of the note. When you are viewing the note, there should be minimal white space to the left and right of the text. This seems to be a no-brainer for an app trying to display text on a small smartphone screen.

I contacted tech support twice requesting this be addressed and I was redirected to this forum. Please reply and comment if you agree. The reviews on the App Store mention this issue a lot.

Can't understand why The developers wouldn't drop everything and fix this problem since you contacted Support twice.
Possibly too busy kniting socks 

A sample of the problem is to the right

A work-around would be to view the notes in landscape mode
