highlighting multiple words

what i meant is to select multiple words, not the highlighting tool

I don't think this is specific to Evernote
Even in this forum, you can select a block of text - you can't have multiple selections

Ha1tham is right, in Microsoft Word and other programs you can select different sections of text by holding the command key on a Mac. Evernote doesn’t currently do this and it would be an extremely useful feature to have. For example, once you have notes taken, then going through and selecting certain words and being able to copy, underline, or bold the selected text.
