Evernote Lagging/Freezing

Hi there,

Recently my Evernote keeps freezing every time I try to type something on a note. The colour wheel pops up and stays for about 1-2 minutes each time, and this has nearly gotten me in trouble at work as i'm typing notes and tasks on it when it freezes so often.

I have tried to download the latest updates and i'm all up to date, but the issue still persists. I have noted down my device's details below if it helps you identify the problem:

Macbook Air (13-inch, Early 2015)
Processor: 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
OS: OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6

I have not uploaded any documents or attachments whatsoever on Evernote. The only thing on Evernote are text notes.

I'd suggest you raise a support ticket for your issue.  They may ask you for an activity log (or you could send one after receiving the ticket number email...) How to send an Evernote activity log
