Huge CPU consumption

Hello,

First, sorry for the bad English..

Since I started using evernote I noticed that windows app consume a lot memory, so much that I cant work or play while open, and I thought that was normal.

But I saw a friend using the same version on the same OS (windows 10 pro) but consuming very low memory, so I dont know what to do.

As you can see in attachment, its about 60% of cpu and I'm just doing nothing, no sync, no editing, just nothing.

Hi.  That is not normal behaviour.  I'd suggest you uninstall and reinstall the application.

You have four different applications consuming more memory in the screen cap you're showing. 37MB isn't a huge memory usage number, unless you are very severely RAM-constrained.

The CPU number is more troubling, but it should -- theoretically -- die down. You might look at the search-as-you-type delay setting to alleviate this: Tools / Options / Search / "Search as you type delay" : try setting this to 0, which disables search as you type.
