Penultimate - merging notebooks

How can I combine two existing notebooks into one notebook in Penultimate? I have combined these notebooks in Evernote but it doesn't carry over to the Penultimate ios app.

I have the same problem. This is the best writing app, but if I cannot merge notebooks, the app is useless to me.

In Evernote, find the two Penultimate notebooks that you want to merge their notes into one notebook.  Move notes from one notebook to the other, one at a time.  You can also tag them while you are working with them in Evernote.

Once you empty a notebook created with notes from Penultimate, it disappears.
