chad825 18
Please allow the to do list feature to tab like bullet points do. when I place a to do checkbox then hit the next line and hit tab, I want to see the box move over a tab's length under the previous line instead of keeping the box in place and only moving the text over. Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted February 15, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted February 15, 2017 I just put todo markers in a bullet list. You can then tab in or out. Todo markers are funky in Evernote; they always have been, to some degree or another. I use them, and I have a way that works pretty well, but every now and again, I hit a scenario that reminds me that they're "special". Link to comment
Michael Goulding 49
The toolbar indent buttons and shortcut Ctrl-M and Ctrl-Shift-M work to do this. Agreed the tab key also should. Link to comment

Yeah, tab is funky in Evernote as well, and has changed over time. If you're on a line that's not a bullet point, then it just inserts five (or four?) space characters. If there is a bullet point, then it does the indentation. That's not wholly unreasonable; there are no hard and fast rules about indentation and tabs that work the same way across all applications. I just trained myself to use Ctrl+M, and life is good. Link to comment
