It may help concentrate the developers' mind on whether to include it. I have the latest Android Beta (updated yesterday) and although it has some nice new bells and whistles, this isn't one of them. I can think of a workaround - sort your notes in the order you prefer on the desktop - create a Table of Contents note for the list, then add that note with an "! AAA" kind of title to throw it to the top of the list in Android. You can then jump to any note in reverse alpha order. New notes can be added to the list manually, or you can tag all notes in the list and then search for "-tag:<onyourlist>" to show new notes (save that as a shortcut to make it a one-key choice...), or you can just re-TOC your database regularly...
