Safari Web Clipper Console Error Log

Hi,

I'm using Evernote Web Clipper on Safari 10.0.3. I see two line error on console pane in Web Inspector like this:

[Error] XMLHttpRequest cannot load safari-extension://com.evernote.safari.clipper-Q79WDW8YH9/b7719629/_locales/en_us/messages.json. Cross origin requests are only supported for HTTP.

	_getL10nData (port.js:2:3802)
	getMessage (port.js:2:3972)
	getExtensionID (Browser.js:2:109)
	initBrowser (Browser.js:2:907)
	Global Code (Browser.js:2:8907)

How do i stop this error? It's really annoying when I need to use Web Inspector on Safari in development projects.

Hi.  Have you tried uninstalling / restart and reinstalling the add-in?

Yes, I tried but nothing changed. I see the same two lines errors on Web Inspector Console.

Hmmn.  There seem to have been a raft of problems with Clipper recently - don't know whether it's browser- or Evernote-related. I'd suggest you contact support directly if you can,  or message them on Twitter

I got in touch with them but did not get any answers. I hope for they reply my question soon.

This has been going on since at least 2013! (see thread linked)

Let me know if you hear anything – I agree it's very annoying when working in dev tools – I ended up uninstalling the clipper just to get rid of the error.

Any ideas when this is getting resolved as troubleshooting new web projects is killing me with al these clipper errors showing in the console..
