JohnGB 0
Lately whenever I try to clip something, it ends up clipping multiple versions of the same thing. So if I right click on an image and select "Clip to Evernote > Clip image", and I then look in Evernote, I see 3-4 duplicates of the same image clipped at the same time. OS: Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11.6) Internet connection: 120 Mbps cable Chrome version: 55.0.2883.95 (64-bit) Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,664 Posted January 21, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted January 21, 2017 Hi. Always useful to know OS, device & connection - multiple copies sometimes means a slow or intermittent network. If you restart the device and reconnect do you still have the same issue? Link to comment
JohnGB 0
@gazumped Thanks for the suggestion. I've added any information that I think is relevant to the original question. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,664 Posted January 21, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted January 21, 2017 Hmmn. Not a bad connection then, obviously. Evernote devs seem to be watching the thread below for one Chrome Clipper issue - you might want to post in there with a link back here to get their attention. There are a few suggested steps and a request for logs which may help too... Link to comment
JohnGB 0
I don't have the problem of logging out when relaunching Chrome, but I just tested this and it has happened again. In case it's useful to the Evernote devs, here are the logs for today from the web clipper extension: 00:05:16 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: Went offline. at /js/main/Extension.js:3:7096 00:05:20 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: Went online. at /js/main/Extension.js:3:7171 02:05:57 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: Went offline. at /js/main/Extension.js:3:7096 02:06:05 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: Went online. at /js/main/Extension.js:3:7171 04:07:16 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 08:11:54 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 08:35:36 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 08:50:38 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 09:05:39 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 09:20:42 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 09:35:43 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 09:50:45 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 10:05:47 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 10:20:49 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 10:35:51 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 10:50:53 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 11:05:55 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 11:20:57 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 11:35:59 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 11:51:00 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 12:06:02 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 12:40:49 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) 12:55:51 GMT+0100 (CET) (LOG) /background.html: server keepAlive request at b (/js/main/Extension.js:2:178) Link to comment
