dport 0
I am doing research and saving a lot of pdf's inside Evernote. (Sometime I 'save as pdf' and other times I 'print' to Evernote.) Same problem. To create my report I need to be able to 'cut and paste' text from the pdf's. I am not able to do this in Evernote. Without this ability Evernote becomes and OBSTACLE, NOT AN ENABLER. As far as I can see now, using Evernote to conduct web research has been a complete waste of my time. I might as well just save the pdf's to my Mac file directory where I can at least have access to the text. Am I missing something? Dead in the water. Link to comment

I am not able to do this in Evernote. There's a bug in the current Mac version that prevents selecting text in the PDF viewer. You could open the PDF in a different app like Acrobat Reader Are you missing a step in your workflow - use an OCR application to convert your pdf to selectable text? If it's any help, using the Mac, you can do screen clip for copy/paste but it will be images, not text Link to comment
