Hmmm Evernote Blog includes a table with no borders....

The Evernote Blog from Dec 26 2016 includes the following:

 

Try as I might, I can't create this sort of thing. It has to be a table and the table has no borders...

I gather this is Apple and not Windows?

Mac users get a few more options  

 

If this is something you need, one route is to modify the underlying html code.

Also, you could get a Mac user to post a template Template5x5TableNoBorder.enex

Interesting... how to you modify the html? (I know html and css as they are my workhorses, so I'm not asking what the code means, but where the html can be modified)

You can export the note, giving you a .enex file to modify with a text editor

After modification, import the .enex file

Right, ok. I thought there was a cool feature where you could do it within Evernote.

There is a third party tool which lets you edit EN notes, ENML.  If you know HTML you can copy the note link to the tool, make your adjustments, save, and then sync back into EN.  I don't know HTML or XML at all but was able to use the tool to clean up some of the spacing and border colors to create some default tables.  FWIW.
