In-text Code Block

Code Block is helpful tool to exaggerate code components within the note.

Is it possible to use Code Block in-text? I believe it should be possible since it is natural for the user to have a part of the code or command appears within the sentence.

For example,

The purpose of cat >README command is to create README file.

I just format code like that with COURIER NEW font. Most things that do a "block" do a, well, block. Formatting inline technically isn't a block of text.

That works. I followed your solution and created a font with COURIER NEW and gray shading in the background,   COURIER NEW.
