I had Skype running when I initiated an iSight note on my MacBook (10.6.3). The note started with a blank window, and I clicked on the Start button to get a picture. Apparently Skype had a lock on the camera, even though it was otherwise inactive, and Evernote got in a deadlock. I quit Skype, but the deadlock was not released. Evernote had most menu options grayed, INCLUDING Quit. So I had to Force Quit the application.
After restarting, with Skype not running, I initiated an iSight note, and got an immediate picture, and was able to complete the snapshot.
I am posting here because Evernote does not have ANY bug reporting function that I can find.
