Sync problem - unsynced note I can't find

When I try to sync I get this error message: 

please check that your computer is connected to network.

To resolve this error, you can export any unsynced notes and then delete them from your account. if this problem persists, go to customer support.

Could not sync note 'untitled note'. the content is invalid.

new notes seem to be saved on Evernote online. seems like I just need to find whatever note is not syncing and delete it?

I use top list view 
and have a column to show unsynced notes

Your activity log may indicate the note causing a problem

I can use top list view, but how do I see where the unsynced notes are? 

 

I am using Evernote 6.9. 

there is one column with a sync symbol at the top of it, but clicking on it does nothing, it seems like all the notes are blank in that column.

The screenshot I posted identified one note that hadn't been synced

By clicking on the column heading, the list is sorted into that sequence and unsynced notes show at the top
