Empty Bullet Points are Removed

I use bullet points extensively on most of my notes and access from iPhone, iPad and my iMac.

 

Recently I noticed that all empty bullets points are being removed on my iMac. For instance, I leave a blank line (empty bullet point) in the notes on my iPhone. when the note is saved, I open up the same note on my iMac, the empty bullet point is "removed" and the "preview" that is on the left hand sidebar will show this note heading but the content is a blank space (see attach)

   This note is taken on the iMac where you will notice the blank bullet point is removed without user intervention.

 

The blank bullet line is under the heading "ABWH", last second point "NT" and last bullet "Wa"

I am running the latest version 6.10 on my iMac.

I do not have this issue previously.

Same issue here. Hadn't been an issue up to a few weeks ago. Very frustrating.
