theamzngq 1
I have multiple notes with images, but when I try to print them, the span multiple pages. How do I fix this so that evernote will print the image on one page? It doesn't seem to have a hard time displaying the image all on one screen. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,042 Posted November 9, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted November 9, 2016 Evernote resizes images to fit the size of the screen on which they're viewed, regardless of image size. The only way to 'fix' the layout of the page you see is to use Word or Publisher or some other software to contain the images and any related text, or to use 'print screen' from the device you're looking at. theamzngq 1
I find that to be ridiculous. In what situation anywhere would someone want a paper printout with this issue?! Why would the on-screen display fit images to the page but not in a printout? It defies logic. All devices these days, phones especially, take photos that are super high resolution; they would never fit on a single paper sheet in the first place, therefore they need automatic resizing. So unless there is a setting or fix within Evernote, no one who adds an image to their note will ever be able to get a hard copy on a single page without a whole slew of extras steps in 3rd party software. Very disappointing... Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,042 Posted November 10, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted November 10, 2016 One of the points of Evernote is to avoid the use of paper, and it's not exactly the ideal way to directly prepare content for print. Evernote's strength is in collating information for documentation and presentations, and preparing information to go into Publisher or Word. It's not a 'slew' of extra steps, just a question of assembling the pieces into a stylish whole...and I'm not defending or advocating that, just explaining how the process currently works.
