Request: Silent mode.

I really want selectable silent mode. iPhone 7's speaker has very big shutter sound which cannot be turnd off at all.

It is so noisy that I cannot scan a lot of papers at night.

You can disable it with a app that make any app silent! It works very well. In my case I use '무음 카메라로'(korean app). However, I don't know any other apps like this in English, so I could not recommend  this Silent app in English

Simply use the physical switch at the side of the iPhone, above the 2 volume toggles. When this is switched to „red“, all sounds are muted, including the camera shutter. I always use it to silence my iPhone when entering places where I like to take some pics but do not want to be intrusive (like a tourist visit to a church).
