Since I complain about the bugs, I should praise the features... I'm excited about the new text engine and what it can mean for note-taking. For a long time, I've wanted to see Evernote do some back-to-the-basics work, and I have to admit - I assumed the text engine was so deeply embedded it could never be fixed. Not only did you fix it, but you did it under the covers and pretty seamlessly!

Looking forward to those outlines, tables and annotations... let's see if Evernote can't change the way we take notes.

This beta is very broken in Snow Leopard 10.6.3. Blank window freezes at launch with just the grey borders showing.

I'm using that same version of OSX, so you may have some other problem. I'd recommend:

Quit Evernote from the elephant icon in the menu bar

Download the client again and reinstall it

Reboot your Mac

Let us know if that helps
