Derekuma 0
I got the "We have identified a bug in some versions of Evernote for Mac" notice from Evernote last week, recommending I install the latest version from iTunes which I endeavoured to do so, only to get stopped with a window which said "Version too old Your local Evernote data is being managed by a newer version of Evernote. Please use the latest version." I was trying to install 6.9.2. I was using 6.10 beta. I have previously tried to leave the beta program to no avail Given that I have lost so much time on the bugs [ & I do love my Evernote & would begrudgingly go Onenote ], I really just want to use a safe , smooth working app. Can you advise how I can use 6.9.2 or how to get 6.10 , please. For a safe, smooth working app; you may not want to be in the beta testing program. You can turn off the beta switch in the Preferences setting There are two different versions of Evernote - the iTunes app store - the Evernote site (www.evernote.com) If you were using the beta, you downloaded from the Evernote site Its not a good idea to flip back and forth My solution would be to start fresh - Delete the app and the database - Reinstall the app and let the database be rebuilt from the servers - Warning: The rebuild does not include local notebooks or unsynced notes Link to comment
