notebook sort order keeps changing

Hello I have a notebook called Journal and I have set sort order by created (newest first) which makes sense because I want to see chronologically records per day. I have set it in Windows client and web, but unfortunately it seems it keeps changing to sort by modify date. How do I make it stay sorted by created?

I was not really sure why you link me to that article, but I read it anyway... and oh it is really true that sort order is global and notebooks don't remember this! Was it always like that?  I never noticed that specific notebook cannot remember it's sort order. That looks quite weird to me. Please consider implementing this simple feature. It would be much more convenient if notebooks remembered this settings, because as I said some notebook types are best viewed by "date created" and others by "date updated". I am quite surprised they actually don't do that :-]

I don't believe Evernote Web has any option to 'fix' the order,  like the desktop installed versions.  See How to change the sort order of your notes
