Hi All,

I sometimes like to export a notebook in order to archive.  When doing it, the app proposes always "My Notes" as name.

But I think it would be much more effective to propose the name of the notebook.

Regards,

Lionel

If you right click on a notebook and select Export Notes... the default file name in the Save As dialog box should be the name of the notebook.  What steps are you using to export the notebook?

In Evernote for Mac, I click on "Notebooks" in the left panel and get in the list of all my notebooks.

From there, I do right-click then "Export notes from ...."

That's right, Mac users don't have the option to have Notebook names automatically on export files.

We do have the option of using AppleScript to automate this; my backup procedure is documented here
