I wrote a quick powershell to set this as a one liner and blogged about it here.
set-itemproperty -Path HKCU:\Software\Evernote\Evernote -Name HotkeyCreateNewSkitchNote -Value 0
and to check it use:
get-itemproperty -Path HKCU:\Software\Evernote\Evernote -Name HotkeyCreateNewSkitchNote

I am thrilled to report that this feature has been added in the latest release of Evernote
(4.5.5.6796). Thank you Evernote, the fact that the community can speak and you listen says a lot about a company. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
在主題:Suggestion - how to improve tag view on iPad - search for tags
23 March 2012 - 01:57 AM
May,
Thank you for writing this. I have been meaning to write this same sentiment on the forumns for weeks now and you have done a better job than I ever would have, thank you.
I am more extreme in my use of tags than many as I have over 1500 notes and have only one notebook. Tagging is everything for me and having this feature added would be a huge boost to my productivity with the iPad. My work flow on the desktop and iPhone uses the exact mechanisms listed above to be productive and this is definitely needed on the iPad. This feature would be higher on my list than any other feature that I would like to see.
Thanks again for calling attention to this very beneficial feature to a great product.
Chris

在主題:Evernote PDF OCR vs SnapScan OCR
08 March 2012 - 09:06 PM
Another problem I have seen is that the snapscan's OCR often leaves spaces between characters so if someone's name is John Doe, if I select the text and copy it, it will come out like J o hn Do e with random spaces inserted. This breaks the ability to have evernote highlight searched for terms because if I search for John it may pull the note but it won't highly john unless I was searching for "j o hn". Very frustrating. Whats more frustrating is that having evernote OCR the files isn't an option either because I don't want to lose the OCR if I pull the PDF out of evernote.
Arg...
Evernote, can you please leave the OCR on files for premium users at least so that I can ditch the shoddy pre-evernote OCR steps?

在主題:REQUEST: Rename attachments
25 February 2012 - 01:42 AM
Please implement this feature. I know I could take more time and spend more effort doing a two step import process from my scanner to a folder and then rename and then move the file into evernote but I don't like this workflow and don't want to have the extra steps involved.
Please enable us to simply rename the documents that we have loaded into notes in Evernote.
Thanks,
Chris
