QUESTION: Simultaneous search and data protection

Using simultaneous search, are the search terms transferred to Evernote servers or will there be a local search of the database? If all Google searches are transferred to Evernote servers, Google and Evernote are aible to analyze the surf habits. Although I trust Evernote completely, this feauture might scare some users.

Does anybody know if the Evernote servers are contacted?
