In Topic: Forwarding from Gmail to Evernote has a HUGE Privacy/Security Issue

We'll look into providing some documentation on this to make rerouting clear.  Again, this is something we don't have meaningful control over, but putting some wording in an article about forwarding v rerouting could be something we could do for anyone who may be concerned.  Sort of a general PSA.  Closing.

In Topic: Just downloaded and installed latest update and Evernote will not open now

We've deployed the hotfix, which has been working for reported crashes thus far.

(EDITED: this is a downgrade link to 5.0.7--my apologies)

Be aware that direct download version is slightly different from the app store version in how it stores local notebooks, so you may temporarily lose access to (not actual data loss) to your local (not connected to our webservice) notebooks if you're bouncing between download types.

Probably depends on the client at this moment in time.  On my Mac a "completed" Reminder still contains the notification date/time.

But nothing for non-dated reminders?  I actually date very few of my task items.

Ah, I see what you're saying.  A completed, non-dated Reminder looks exactly the same as a note without a Reminder (will flag for the team).
