the newer is sloooow.
It does not have "substring tag search"...earlier 1 did. And it did it quickly.

This was a very bad decision from the PMs IMHO

tagging is always easier from client at the end of day/session.

How to revert back to older ?

1>I am a annual premium user.
2>I use evernote as a snippet database + research warehouse.
3>I drastically need a literal search(ie punctuation, symbols searched not ignored) and substring search.
4>I have tried using google desktop, coopernic etc to search inside the evernote .exb | not useful
5>I have tried "nevernote"(or nixnote) but it crashes so often and does not synchronizes all 2.5k notes that I have
6>I dont mind waiting 5/10 minutes for my searches to complete but with simple hashing/indexing I believe it will not take that long.

Does evernote plan to consider this requirement and provide some actual value additions in further updates..instead of things like fav bar?

how do I do just that? ENscript?

4> Are the notes downloaded as clear text? or are they encrypted like gmail's emails.
5> I add a note. Will that be send as "clear text" on the wire too?
