  1. The previous version is no longer available and the new version is all that is available.
  2. I believe that code blocks are getting some attention. Don't expect a piecemeal update.
  3. For me, it just took around 4 seconds to open the Files screen. Remember that Files is a work in the earliest stages of development. It is, I think, a response to the fact that many Evernote users work wqith file attachments more than notes. The idea has been to develop something that will all the developers to see what is proving useful. So feedback is definitely going to have some influence. But if it really doesn't fly then I imagine Files could disappear as suddenly as it appeared. If they are monitoring just @bmcl26 and my use then expect it to go soon
  4. This is a significant issue which appears to affect all folding devices. The hardware adjustments needed in Android appear to conflict with the Evernote app. I fear that there will be no improvement until there is a standardised implementation for folding hardware.
  5. Don't forget that on a tablet or phone the browser setting for the site needs to be set for Desktop view/site. The original error message looks typical for attempting to view without that switch being selected.
  6. The ENEX files are simply XML so you could run a script on these too. As previously suggested the evernote-backup routine creates a local database using the API which could be used for reporting as well. But as @PinkElephant says, this has not been discussed in the past.
  7. There is no alternative desktop app for Linux. Sorry. Development of the beta for Linux was stopped as announced last year and it used the old sync so now no longer works at all. The only options are the web browser or a VM for the Windows app.
  8. My personal view is that this Files feature is a solution seeking a problem.
  9. Sorry for that for you. I was referring just to the Files pull out that is slow. I haven't experienced any slowness in Evernote generally. My first response would be to uninstall with Revo Uninstaller and then reinstall. The freezing you describe feels like some corruption.
  10. Have you tried reinstalling as described or even just rebuild your local data? That may do the trick.
  11. @darrenbuttoniow There are broadly five ways of creating a task and all are working for me... Inside a note... 1. Type () folowed by the task information 2. Tap the blue + icon in the menu bar OR use the / command and then type in your task information 3. Type the task description, leave the cursor at the end of the text and use the blue + or / command to convert that text to a task Or from the task pop out window or in the task widget on the home screen 4. Tap the icon with a circle, + and check mark 5. Alt+T Right now all of these are working for me. If one of these is what you are attempting but don't work I'd suggest a standard computer reboot, failing that a full uninstall with Revo Uninstaller (Windows) or AppCleaner (Mac) 10.84.3-win-ddl-public (20240409145102) Editor: v177.16.3 Service: v1.100.4 Windows 11 Pro
  12. You create an Import Folder link (Settings, Import Folders) Scan into that folder and the resulting file will appear in the Evernote notebook that yo9u have connected. Each month you amend the connection for the Import Folder to the new month's notebook. So in your example above. Connect your scanner output directory for Evernote documents to notebook: 1. January 24 When it comes to February, amend the Import Folder to connection 2. February 24 and so on.
