Good Afternoon!
I am trying to be a wise user/consumer of my Evernote resources.
I use Offline Notebooks fairly extensively, and am quickly becoming so engaged in my day-to-day job expectations that I often do not remember to specifically open Evernote and allow its sync process to complete while I watch it. My failure to remember to open Evernote and let it sync leads to unsynced offline notes, and unsynced notes leads me to be sad.
My question:
Can someone explain the iOS version of the Offline Notebook sync process? That is, does the application need to be open and in use for sync to happen, or can I configure the app a certain way and it will sync while charging overnight, without being open and in use?
My sense of the iOS scheme is that apps have focus (open and in use), or they are in the "tray." My understanding does not extend to an awareness of what the apps DO while they are in the tray.
Help?
