  1. Hey Evernote Team, It's been a while since we've requested this with no response. I've moved to WorkFlowy since this feature is critical to me (I'm kinda ADHD). Evernote served me very well for many years so thanks! Best, Craig
  2. This is the solution! Thanks so much. At least until Evernote provides a preference.
  3. Hello all, I'm still really trying to hang in there with Evernote but have found an alternative with Nimbus Note who has listened to our request for collapsable outlines. Please get this done guys. I really do want to stay. Best, Craig
  4. Yes please! And thank you in advance!
  5. To add a bulleted list in Chrome on a PC or Mac this works Type * (asterisk), and then press Spacebar or the Tab key. Beauty.
  6. If you go to the Coca-Cola museum in Atlanta, you will see that New Coke was a colossal, legendary and epic fail.
  7. Totally bummed. I've been loyal for almost a decade but with crazy new sync issues and a whole new unfamiliar and less useful product I'm thoroughly disappointed. Real bummer. I can't believe I'm about to say this. Gulp. I have no choice but to switch to a OneNote. I need to know my work is safe. UPDATE: ---------------------- Sigh... after an exhaustive search and a genuine effort with OneNote, and a few others, I'm back to Evernote. Even though Evernote is seemingly struggling with these recent updates, I am once again reminded why I can't let them go. The features are still second to none, even though they ignore and even flat out defy our feature requests. I've decided to exclusively use the web versions on all devices (even mobile requested desktop site via Safari which is brutal. But at least my work seems safe and synced. The iOS and native apps just wont sync so I've dumped them for the time being until they can get it together again. I love you Evernote! I hate you Evernote!
  8. After all this I just realized that I can link directly to a file using "File//" with the Download Version (not the Mac AppStore version) 😀
  9. Here is a not so elegant solution but it works... Right click on your file to copy the path, then hold down the OPT key while contextual menu is still open Open a rich text TextEdit document and paste the path, ad add a "File://" to the prefix CMD-A and CMD-C to Copy the whole path, and CMD-K and CMD-V to paste the path as a link Save the TextEdit file . I used "Mac File Path" Double click the embedded file for quick access to the file location Not pretty but it works. Oh Evernote the love/hate relationship we have.
  10. I actually did get it working . As I mention in the video though, once I navigate away from the note, Evernote strips out the <details> tag. https://youtu.be/YEFytunlJZg
  11. Hello All! I've posted some ideas here before. I'm a self-certified super user and am a HUGE proponent to the text collapse idea. I've long since given up on the idea and have moved to my own personal work-around. However, I stumbled upon what could be a great solution if the dev team would be willing to make a few tweaks. Have a look... https://youtu.be/YEFytunlJZg
  12. Although I'd still LOVE the text collapse feature, here's what I'm using as a compromise... meh...
  13. Thanks I'm aware of that. I add Google Docs, Word Docs, PSD files, marked-up PDFs, you name it. Like I mentioned, I've been using this product for years and have used it to the fullest of it's potential. Nevertheless, a text collapse feature, like what is now standard UI on the web would be a wonderful addition to an already wonderful product. It's important enough to me that I took the time to honestly contribute.
  14. Dear Evernote Dev Team, I am an long-time Evernote Premium user, fan and advocate. It is part of my daily workflow, for hours per day I might add. You guys have done a wonderful job with this product and my hat goes off to you... However, this feature would be HUGE to me, and apparently many others. PLEASE consider adding this feature sooner than later. As mentioned, I am loyal but I have begun to research alternatives that would offer this feature. I really don't want to switch though. just being honest You guys rock!!! Best Regards, Craig
  15. Just wanted to put in my 2 cents to say this feature would be so amazing. I use "Copy Note Link" many times a day and could save lots of time with a keyboard shortcut. Thanks in advance Evernote dev team. Love your work!!!
