Because Evernote, back in the day when I got an account, made a HUGE deal about my data being mine, and always being able to get my data out of EN. Now that it's come to it that doesn't work properly. Not in one app, in every app that I try. Which means that my data doesn't turn out to be mine after all. Also, the price hikes have been incredible over the years, especially considering that what you get for that has gotten progressively worse.

WHAT has worked for others? Making the marketing dept think their ad has worked? That'll only make them bother the users with more ads.

And that's exactly the problem.

I don't see any solutions suggested here, except "trying to pretend to go for the 25% off to fool the system into thinking this ##$%$ ad has worked" which I'm not about to do. But yes, I've been opted out of all possible ads for years in Evernote. Also, that's not the point. The point is I don't want to see ads in a product that I'm paying for. That shouldn't be an opt-out thing.

Title says it all. It is extremely irritating to have to click away an ad for Evernote for Business before I can use the app that I'm already paying (too much) for. I don't have, and never will have, any use for EN for business, and I've already opted out of marketing messages a million times. While evernote has gotten better in the last few months, things like this still make me feel that you're actively trying to get rid of your customers.

A thing that's been bothering me in this great service ever since I started using it 2 years ago, is that it is not possible to set a sorting order for a specific notebook. To me this seems very basic, so I was very disappointed that it's still not available in the new beta. I mean, am I the only one who wants my receipts ordered by date and my recipes ordered by title? My family photos ordered by date and my art photos ordered by title? I do sincerely hope this can be implemented!! Once again, thanks for the great software.
