Read only word docs on ipad

I am starting to use evernote and saving office file (word, excel etc) documents in a note. The editing of these docs on my mac and PC are fine, however on my ipad, opening using docs to go and pages, I have to save the edited file to my Dropbox account or locally on my ipad.

Is there anyway the files can be saved in the original evernote note?

New to this forum, but looking forward to anyone's thoughts.
