jozenn 0
I've selected penultimate in the App Store, but whenever I try to download it from the cloud it says, you have already purchased this app so it will be downloaded now, and then nothing happens, and the download icon returns. I've updated the iOS, I've logged in and out of iTunes, I've restarted the iPad, deleted all background apps- nothing works. Any suggestions? Link to comment
ScottLougheed 1,316
This has me stumped. One thing that has worked for similar issues might be to see if your iPad is confused about the installed/uninstalled state by:Navigate to your devices settings appTap GeneralTap UsageNavigate the list of apps to see if penultimate is there. If it is there, tap it and click "delete this app"Then perhaps restart and completely kill the App Store and try installing again. If penultimate is NOT on that list, I'm stumped... Although since this isn't an Evernote specific issue maybe consider posting in the Apple Support Communities, there are lots of smart people over there. Link to comment
jozenn 0
Thanks. Unfortunately, it doesn't show up in the usage section. Nor can I delete it- apple protects it's native apps. I'll see what the apple support can do. Cheers. Link to comment
ScottLougheed 1,316
Penultimate isn't a native app... Maybe I'm not understanding you (or more likely I've just confused you!) the Apple Support Comuntiies may have more to add! Link to comment
jozenn 0
Sorry, meant that I couldn't delete the App Store app. So far, no good suggestions on apple support. Resetting all settings worked for some, but not me. Ah well. Link to comment
ScottLougheed 1,316
Ah, by "completely kill" I meant the ol' double tap the home button and swipe up on the app.Nevertheless you seem to have a real puzzler on your hands! Good luck. Link to comment
