aqdrk 0
Hello, I'm using Chrome 33.0.1750.154 m on Windows 7 x64 For the sake of making things easier, I've disabled all Chrome extensions but the latest versions of Clearly and Evernote Web Clipper Here is my problem: I clip an article with Clearly, having adjusted the style beforehand: I prefer Night Owl for most articles. However, once I clip it, it only retains basic formatting and no styles at all - no fonts, no background colors, etc. The note looks plain and simple when I open it. The same is true when using the Web Clipper's "Simplified article" option. "Article" and "Full Page" clip fine. Here is an example article: http://www.techspot.com/review/793-thief-battlefield-4-mantle-performance/ Expectations (using Clearly): Results (Using the Windows or Web app to view the clip/note): By the way, I am unable to use any markup tools other than HTML highlighter and when I try to clip in Screenshot mode, it says "Clipping..." for more than 2 minutes and then the notification window disappears, but nothing happens - nothing is clipped, there is no new note. What am I doing wrong here? Link to comment
jbignert 473
Hi aqdrk,Desktop clients only support 1 Clearly theme at this point. So all clips from Clearly or Simplified article will get the same theme when viewed inside the clients. Link to comment
aqdrk 0
Thank you! So how do I change the Desktop client's theme to Night Owl (I am using Evernote at home only during the night, so Light theme is not an option for me) and why the web client is also using only 1 theme (the same as the desktop) and not showing the clips as they appear when viewed with Clearly or with the Simplified article before clipping?
