(Archived) Handwritten PDFs for OCR

I have to take a lot of handwritten notes for class. I was wondering how effective the OCR is for handwritten PDFs. If JPG is preferable, that's fine. I just need to know which format is best to save my notes into. Also, I'm a new premium subscriber.

I'd say JPG is better because you're more likely to be able to read the pages on multiple clients.  PDFs sometimes show up as icons or as one-page images that flip from one page to the next,  depending on the client.
