(Archived) Encrypt a whole notebook?

Is there a way to encrypt a whole notebook? I want to scan ID cards that I don't use often and upload to a notebook in Evernote (i.e., store frequent buyer cards, Friends of Library, AAA membership, etc). It looks like encryption is only for text (I'm a free Evernote user). Is there a way around this?
