Embedding Evernote to Display Lesson Plans on Site

I have been doing basic, student-facing lesson plans on Evernote the last year or so. I'm building a class website with Adobe Muse. I want to take the content I've written in Evernote and embed it into my website. That way, when I change content on Evernote, it's right there in the class website.

 

Here's an example of a project unit:

You can see it has daily plans, links to handouts and videos, and ultimately dues dates for the unit.

 

I want to take that content and have it on my website in a way that is seamlessly styled to my site. I know I can use the share link and embed it into an iframe. That's not terribly elegant, plus not styled to my website.

 

I could also provide hyperlinks from my website out to Evernote, but that takes users off my site.

 

Does anyone have any other ideas? When I first starting building this website, my plan was to embed an RSS feed. Then, I found out yesterday that Evernote removed the RSS feed function months ago. Good job to me for staying up on current events!

 

Any ideas are appreciated.

Not really, no. I put it in there as an iFrame. Not terribly elegant. I'm re-thinking the whole thing anyway. I never published the website. I'll still doing the Evernote Notebooks, however. I just post them on our school district supplied Edline page and also tweet them out.

If you haven't put a ton of effort into building your site yet, you might want to check out this years DevCup winner, Postach.io. They publish notes that you select in a blog format. But then your site is hosted by them, rather than what you've already built. They have a lot of great looking themes and choices so I would check it out! It might work really well for you.

I have not been able to do this.  I get "in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'." 

 

I am guessing they have put a stop to using iframe to display a shared note??

I would first check if something proposed in 2013 is still relevant in 2019.

The world has turned a lot since, and in IT-related issues 6 years count a lot. I doubt anyone would build something static like the sample note shared in the first post.

One thing is remarkable: The note shared in 2013 is still there in 2019, displaying just fine. It seems EN is made for eternity.

Yes, @PinkElephant is correct - it's no longer relevant to me (the OP on this thread). I embedded it in a number of ways - none of which ever pleased me. I did this up until our school adopted a new LMS which made it all easier. Thus, I no longer have to maintain a website for student materials. Even the remnants of that original site are long gone. I'm not even a classroom teacher anymore. So, yes, much moves from 2013 to 2019.

It is fun to see that the link to the note still works. It's buried deep into some archive somewhere at this point. Not to mention, I'm considering leaving Evernote all together. 

If I had to do this again, I would probably use a Google Doc that I can publish to the web. Or use the direct link and let Evernote do the hosting. Or use a try to rig together my own Iframe solution to frame up that link - but I rarely have to do that with content anymore. Who knows.
