Let's say I've just paid my gas bill online. I'd like to add proof of my payment to my 'Unfiled' notebook in Evernote, where I would later on tag it as "Utilities" and "Receipt" and move it into a better location.
Right now, here is how I do it:
1) Hit 'Print' in my browser.
2) 'Destination' is already set to "Save as PDF", so I simply click on the 'Save' button
3) Figure out somewhere to save it on my desktop
4) Switch to Evernote
5) Skootch Evernote window over a little bit
6) Open a Finder window
7) Skootch Finder window over a little bit, and select the 'Desktop' folder
8) Drag the PDF from my Desktop folder onto Evernote
This would be much nicer if Evernote had its own "Send to Evernote as PDF" print destination. For example, see my mockup.
Apparently something like this is possible per this thread:
However, I am not finding a "~/Library/PDF Services" folder on my machine, and before I go on a wild goose chase, I'm curious if there is a less hackish (i.e. natively-supported) way to do this. If not, I would like to submit this as a feature request, please let me know how I can do this.
