Problem with Nexus 7, delete a big part of the note instead a word!

Hi everybody,

I have a Google Nexus 7 and I have a problem:

when I want to delete a word I press the "back" button in the keyboard, but often Evernote delete a big part of the note! And since there is no "undo" button my note miss a big part of the text I entered.

How can I fix that? Now I use a common text editor...
