In Evernote Windows, if you select several lines, and then click the Checkbox button, your text is deleted and replaced by a checkbox. Pooh!
This would work a lot better if it behaved just like bullets: it should add a checkbox at the beginning of each line.
Without text selected it should still add a checkbox at the cursor.
What do you think?

Completely agree with you, this seems like a bug.
Note that the MAC implementation seems to work properly by converting multiple selected lines to a checkbox format without deleting them.
