Today I have installed the update of Evernote 4.6 for Windows (XP) and now the Firefox Clipper 5.4 does not work anymore. I always get the the message "Evernote is not installed correctly. Please reinstall Evernote and clip again." I have already reinstalled Evernote for Windows, the Firefox plugin and did several reboots - no change.

The Outlook button gives also an error message. Obviously the Windows version 4.6 messed up the Evernote background service. Please fix this faulty version asap or give us a link to the old - perfectly working - version.

And the same problem with Firefox 16.0.2. Good all day until prompted to update, then bad, bad, bad. Tried reinstall, not a cure. Please fix and notify users ASAP.

Followup to my previous, I am a premium user although I'd expect that you'd make every effort to get this fixed in a hurry for everyone.

This problem is related to the new Windows version and NOT to the Firefox add-on! As I said, the Outlook plugin is also broken. You could release a fix for Evernote Windows without an approval process, right?

Ah... title has been misleading me. Yes we are looking into the Outlook issues and yes that utility comes with the Windows client where we have more control.

I just signed up as a premium member on an annual plan, installed the latest version of evernote and evernote clipper has stopped working.
What kind of joke is this? Can you guys test your application properly before release?

Pls fix this asap or give us a download link to the previous version of evernote if this is going to take a few days to fix!!

For people who had exactly the same problem with me, here is how I overcome it:
In this forum there is another post: http://discussion.ev...4607670-update/

One evernote employee lel (http://discussion.ev...ser/113745-lel/) can provide a trial version if you PM him.
This issue is gone after I apply that trial version.

cheers!
