Hi!
Just installed Skitch and need to resolve two things or I will uninstall!
1. How do I get Skitch to save the edited image to the same note and not create a new one?
2. How do I remove the Markup with skitch banner/toolbar that appears after using Skitch. It takes real-estate and doesn't really provide any value. Double clicking is enough. It feels more like an advert rather then necessary tool.

Thankful for all hints!

So if you start out with an image in a note, and you choose "Markup with Skitch" and add arrows or what not, that change will be saved in the same note. The pink bar also doesn't appear.

The pink bar and a new note with the image by itself, show up if you create an image in skitch and then select "Use" to send it to Evernote.

Thanks for the reply.
Here is what I do!
1. Double click an image.
2. Skitch fires up and loads the page. I crop the image (evernote moleskine image)
3. I hit apply to crop the page
4. CTRL+S to save the image
5. close Skitch.
Now, evernote creates a new note with the croped image.

Is there a way of getting Skitch to save the croped image to the same note?
Sorry, It starts to dawn on me that this could be a my ignorance rather then anything else!!!

Cheers,
Shahram

Ah, ok try this.

1. Right click on the image
2. Select "Markup with Skitch" just under Open and Open with...
3. Crop to your heart's content
4. Hit use
5. Magic!
6. Image should be cropped in the original note
7. Post to Evernote Forum about it!

I hope this helps!

No worries at all! There should be a use button in the lower right hand corner. I've tried adding a Skitch arrow onto top of the Skitch UI, so this is a rather image.

So that's what you should see if you open a new Skitch note (double click seems to be a bug), but if you use the right-click "Markup with Skitch" option it should give you a screen like mine... lemme play around with it

To summarize.
1. Right click on the image, choose "mark up with Skitch"
2. Make and apply your changes
3. click on "Use" button at the right lower corner

This will submit the changes to the same note.

Thank you ever so much for spending time on this for me.
Now, I am back to my "happy" place using Skitch again.

Regards,
Shahram
