If you are like me with iPad 3 and unable to open PDFs in the latest version of Evernote..... Try deleting CloudOn if you have it installed and then try again with EN. It worked for me.
I'm using an iPad 2 and had the same issue. Removing CloudOn worked for me too. Thank you!!!
I get that the original poster is probably referring to a temporary workaround rather than a "solution", because deleting another app isn't really a solution in my opinion. I need CloudOn and use it regularly. EN rev 4.2 worked with CouldOn. Maybe an Evernote spokesperson can find the time to weigh in? Allowing your users to believe that CloudOn is somehow at fault here is counterproductive.
I agree, let's not consider this problem solved. While I'm fortunate to not need CloudOn as much as I need Evernote, I don't think EN should depend on me NOT having other applications installed in order to function as advertised.

To keep you productive in the meantime, we’ve updated our application to ensure you can use both CloudOn and Evernote without conflict. We will let you know when this update is live. Please note the CloudOn fix can only resolve the issue between Evernote and CloudOn, and no other application.
