sharing ability to add new note, but not edit existing note

i need to be able to share a notebook for others to add new notes, but NOT allow to edit existing notes... is there an option? HELP! :)

Can't do it. This is one of the major limitations of Evernote Sharing.
Should be renamed "Sharing Lite" IMO, to provide a better expectation of what it can, and cannot, do.

You have only 3 sharing permissions:
  • None (private, by default)
  • View only
  • All (view, create, edit, delete)
