Am a new user. The idea I'm trying to flesh out is to establish a shared file that my wife and I can both update, essentially for use as a shopping list. It'd eliminate duplicate trips/purchases.

I've only seen twitter, FB, email shared files. This would be just the two of us, without public access...

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Evernote does not support real-time or simultaneous editing of the same note by multiple users.
You will end up with multiple versions with conflicts.

Have you considered GoogleDocs?

It is designed for this, and I belive there are iPhone and Android apps to support it.

I have NOT tested or used GoogleDocs in this particular way, so you will need to evaluate it to see if it meets your needs.

Just saw this software mentioned in the Evernote ad box.

"Collaborate on your notes in realtime with Evernote and LiveMinutes"
