Here are 2 features I would love to have on Evernote Ipad

1. On the main page, at the top of the screen, in the same display as "Notes", "Notebooks", "Tags", add a "History" fuction to get previously opened notes. This would be of a great help to navigate through notes.

2. In the current display, once you select a notebook or a tag, you get the filtered notes in a top banner and the note's content just below. Problem is that the banner is to narrow. So it is difficult to look for a note when you have dozens of them. I would love here to have a display function that would enable to enlarge the banner to the full page, as it is already possible to enlarge the note to the full page.

Hope that these ideas will be backed by other members and that someone at Evernote will look at it (maybe it is already in the next version)

Thanks again for your wonderfull product; it helps me a lot in my daily work and life :)

Hi. Welcome to the discussion forums!

Thanks for sharing your ideas on how to improve the user interface. I was wondering if you could explain your use case a little more for #1, because from the information you provided, it would seem to me that sorting by "updated" would achieve the same thing. The Android interface has a cool "recently viewed" / "last viewed" sort order for the widget. I think that sort option would be a cool feature to bring to the desktop and iOS versions of the app. Unfortunately, though, we won't be getting widgets on the iPhone/iPad anytime soon :(

Thanks for your answer. Yes, you are perfectly right, it is more of a "last viewed" feature. But the idea is not a widget, but rather a feature embedded in the app, that you could select from the front page, next to the search box for instance. Quite often going back and forth from one note to another, such "last viewed" feature would help to shorten the navigation. Desktop version could also benefit from such feature. Have a good day,

PS: Sorting by updated is not enough because it misses all that you viewed without doing any modification

There are "recent searches" on iOS and I use them all the time, so, yeah, "recently viewed" feature would be also pretty useful for me. I like this idea.

There are some aspects of Android I like more, and some in iOS I like more. It would be nice if features like this could cross-pollinate.
