What is the best way to place a link in a note to another Evernote note?

For example, I have a recipe that calls for a condiment that is saved as another note. I would like to link to the recipe within the main recipe note.

No problem. Just right-click on the Note (in the Note list panel) you want to create a link to, and select "Copy Link".
Then in the master note, simply paste from the clipboard (CTRL+V) at the location in the Note content where you want the link.

Ok, that makes sense.

I kept trying to do it within the note that I wanted the link copied to.

I think you should be able to right-click within the note and paste it. I'm a big user of the ol' CTRL-V, but it's nice to have the option.

It looks like it can only be done in the Windows app, and not the web version. Am I right?

Just my 2 cents, if anyone is listening...

Correct. Web client does not support this function.

Also, if you have the destination note in a separate window, you can drag the note from the snippet or list view and drop it on the destination note to create the link.
