Ok, I am new with EverNote but I am technical and wasted some time on something many will find humorous.
I was putting ENSCRIPT.EXE throught paces and was working with scripts. Sometime they would not work. Why? Well, when your set up an EvernNote accout your initial DEFAULT Notebook is named
[Username]'s notebook
So, as I wrote my script I kept thinking that the notebook name was just [Username], causing me to waste time due to my mind 'seeing' something else.
Solution,
When a new account is created, have the initial default notebook named
[Username]
or
DefaultNoteBook
or anything not so 'funny'.
A technie interested in this product will most likely start with ENSCRIPT before moving on. I have the feeling that I am not the only one taken in by the default notebook name joke!
By the way, I am starting to really like the EverNote product, and someday I hope to get into the Cloud API.
