Hello to all denizens of the Evernote community!

I know that the premise of Evernote Food is blatant, but adapting it to your needs or lifestyle can be challenging if you are not a gourmand blogger or critic! The decorum concerning the proper circumstances for photographing my meals constantly arises in my mind (I'm a somewhat anxious fellow, you see). However, the fitness challenge made me think of something. If you take pictures of everything you eat, you can generate a good overview of your daily, weekly, monthly, then yearly nutritional intake. These albums could transform your nutrition, improve your diet, & elucidate health problems (imagine showing your doctor or nutritionist a complete reel of your gastrointestinal misadventures to help her diagnose your problems!). You could even share your albums with other Evernote Food users to help in cultivating a diet for the body, mind and level of energy you desire.

The level of detail you put into it can vary. Try writing briefly about your mood that day. Try seeing how many coffees you had on the days your insomnia & stress seemed to worsen. What did you eat that gave you such horrible gas? What was that amazing dinner that left you feeling 100% good? Become intimate with your intake, and you will see that food has a vast amount of control over your entire demeanor as a living organism.

This day is marked by the pivotal transmogrification of the American healthcare system—so, what better way to celebrate it than by becoming a more discerning & responsible consumer of food.

Go here to discuss and state your own fitness challenges. ^_^

Keep thinking about this.

Did record a couple of great London restaurants, but cannot get my head around recording everything. Might do yet! But so much to do already!

Regards

Chris

I am a Registered Dietetic Technician and would like some more information as to how I can use Evernote Food with clients to share info (i.e. photos of their meals so I can provide feedback). Thanks!

As someone who has had weight loss surgery, and now counsels and coordinates weight loss surgery for others, your idea is definitely intriguing to me.  I had not considered using Evernote Food in that way, but now, I think it may be a very useful tool.
