I've downloaded Evernote Hello onto my phone but it won't install.

I've been anticipating this app for a while now as it would be very useful for my teaching job here in China. Its usual for me to teach a total of 90-110 students and I need to keep contact records of them all, as well as of all my colleague's and other contacts out here.

I'm an ex-pat out in China teaching English to college kids. I have a Samsung Galaxy Mini with full Evernote products that are indispensable to my teaching and to life out here in China.

The app was downloaded through Wandoujia, which is the most popular way of doing it this side of the wall. When that didn't work, I downloaded it again through a VPN from the other side of the "Great Firewall." But to no avail.

Anyone can help, I'd be most grateful. I really want this to work.

There is a problem with Chinese domestic phones where OEMs don't include a key Google API that we are requiring. The 3rd party app stores don't provide the same level of protection as Google Play which won't let you install the app if the device doesn't have this API. We are looking into solutions that will workaround this issue as we know many Chinese users are hitting this problem with both Hello and Food on Android. Stay tuned.

Thanks for the reply.

I hope this problem can be solved before the next academic term this year.
