Using the latest AS3 SDK (1.21) I consistently get the following error message
"EDAM processing error: Bad version in readMessageBegin"
after calling NoteStore.createNote. It doesn't matter what the actual message content is - just always on the 3rd note creation attempt (using the same NoteStore instance).
Simply creating a new instance of the NoteStore seems to be a work around for the problem.

I was as recently as this past Friday (June 22 with 1.21 SDK). However, the work around I mentioned does seem to work fine.
